June 2nd, 2012: In this week’s show we engaged in a full-on Euro 12 preview and talked in depth about the US Men’s National Team.
May 26th, 2012: In this week’s show we gave the Union supporters a say on who is running their franchise, a town-hall style deliberation with lots of listener participation.
May 19th, 2012: We recorded today’s show at Hooter’s Restaurant in Bensalem, discussing the Philadelphia Union in depth as well as previewing the Champions League Final.

April 14th, 2012: In this week’s show, we previewed the Union vs. Crew game with a live report from Eli Pearlman-Storch from PPL Park, interviewed Mike Rizzo from http://www.footballclubrankings.com, discussed the Philadelphia Union as well as the MLS All-Star Game at PPL Park, and interviewed Simon Allen of World Wide Soccer along with the infamous Dee Wreck.
April 7th, 2012: In this week’s show, we discussed the English Premier League and the Philadelphia Union with Eric Krakauer, interviewed referee Ricardo Salazar, interviewed Marc Narducci, and interviewed Eric Westover of US National Amputee Soccer.
March 31st, 2012: In this week’s show, we previewed the Philadelphia Union match vs. Vancouver with Bobby McMahon of Fox Soccer, Bob Long live from PPL Park, Eric Krakauer of World Striker, and Simon Allen of World Wide Soccer, along with lots of other MLS talk.
March 25th, 2012: In this week’s show, Greg Orlandini of KYW joined the Vuvuzela crew, and we discussed the Philadelphia Union’s early season struggles, as well as the US Olympic Qualifying team with Derek Richey of The Straight Red Card.
March 18th, 2012: In this week’s show, we discussed the collapse of Fabrice Muamba at White Hart Lane during the FA Cup match between Bolton and Tottenham Hotspur, interviewed Northampton Town keeper Neal Kitson, previewed the Union vs. Rapids match, interviewed Simon Allen of the Simon Allen Soccer Radio Network, and continued with the Union discussion.
March 11th, 2012: In this week’s show we discussed the Philadelphia Union offseason and previewed the regular season with Greg Orlandini. It was an in-depth discussion of the team’s offseason, the prospects moving forward this season, the new pieces and how they will fit into the system, and a prediction of how the team will fare this season.
March 4th, 2012: In this week’s show we interviewed Gino Pedula, who spent many years in the premier league, the French League, and the MLS, and now serves as a soccer instructor affiliated with the Columbus Crew. We also discussed the beginning of the MLS season, including a preview of the Philadelphia Union opener. We discussed the EPL, including the problems at Chelsea and the firing of AVB. Then, we analyzed the USA’s victory over Italy in the friendly, discussed what it means for the future of American soccer, and recapped all the week’s international action.
February 26th, 2012: In this week’s show, live from Fado’s Irish Pub in Philadelphia, we discussed the North London Darby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal and its significance in the table, with the match being played in the background and participation from the audience.
February 19th, 2012: In this week’s show, we discussed the FA Cup, including Tottenham’s stumbling draw against Stevenege. In addition, we discussed the collapse of the Rangers FC, had an interview with Ashley Nelsey, a media member with the Columbus Crew, a Champions League and Carling Cup discussion, and an interview with Ravi from Forza Futbol.
February 5th, 2012: In this week’s show, Greg Orlandini of KYW and Eli joined Eric and Shep on the air. They talked in depth about the Philadelphia Union, including the recent moves of Faryd Mondragon and Sebastien Le Toux, and a preview of the upcoming season. The guys also discussed the riots in an Egyptian soccer stadium that led to the death of fans, and lots of talk on international soccer.
January 29th, 2012: In this week’s show, we discussed the passing of Joe Paterno and the memorial services that took place on Penn State’s campus last week. In addition, we analyzed the Philadelphia Union and the many moves that are in process or are on the horizon, including the move of Faryd Mondragon to Columbia, and analyzed the possible and current expansion of the MLS and soccer in the United States. La Liga and EPL talk followed, including discussion about Lionel Messi earning the cover of People Magazine.
January 22nd, 2012: (Live from Fado’s Irish Pub in Philadelphia): This show featured discussion on the US Men’s National Team and the US Women’s National Team with Eli Pearlman-Storch and the Rabbi. Next, we discussed the English Premier League, some of the big matches that had already been played or were in progress, and enjoyed the atmosphere of a true soccer pub.
January 14th, 2012: In this week’s show, Eric Nash and KYW’s own Greg Orlandini discussed the MLS SuperDraft, including how the Philadelphia Union fared. The guys discussed the upcoming Union season, the possible expansion of PPL Park, and the trend of US players training overseas in the offseason. In addition, the guys debated whether the rules of international play are too light in terms of whether players can play with a country based with only a small connection to that heritage.
January 7th, 2012: In this week’s show we discussed the MLS upcoming season with an unbalanced schedule, interviewed Derek Richey of “The Straight Red Card,” discussing US Men’s National team, MLS, and much more.
December 18th, 2011: (Live from The Football Factory at Legends, the most famous soccer pub in NYC): With Cesar Diaz and Eric Krakauer on the set, featuring discussions on the English Premier League, the New York Cosmos, the transfer market in the EPL, and some grassroot elements of soccer in America and other countries.
December 11th, 2011: This show featured an in-studio appearance from Greg Orlandini of the KYW Philly Soccer Show, with discussions on the Philadelphia Union and the English Premier League, as well as a debate on the future of the Women’s Professional Soccer League (WPS).
December 4th, 2011: This show featured a discussion on Penn State’s bowl selection, an interview with Dominic Pasco on the EPL, an interview with Cesar Diaz, an interview with Eric Krakauer on the European Cup, and an interview with Ravi of Forza Futbol.
November 27th, 2011: This show featured a recap and analysis of the MLS Cup Final between the Galaxy and Dynamo, a discussion on the Union and the MLS Expansion Draft, a discussion on foreign owners fighting against relegation in the EPL, some Champions League talk, Premier League talk, and a debate on the future of David Beckham in the MLS.
November 6th, 2011: This show features a debate on the John Terry racial insult controversy, English Premier League talk, and an interview with Phil Schoen of GolTV.
October 30th, 2011: This show features a preview of the Philadelphia Union vs. Houston Dynamo first round playoff matchup, an interview with Scott Kessler of The Brotherly Game, more MLS Playoff talk, WPS discussion, a debate on the dumbest names in sports, which goaltender should start for the Union, and an interview with Eric Krakauer of Worldstriker.com.
October 23rd, 2011: This show features an analysis of the Union vs. Red Bulls match, 610 WIP’s contract with the Philadelphia Union, an interview with Marc Narducci of The Philadelphia Inquirer, an analysis of the Manchester Derby, an interview with Nick Lewis, the Producer of “Rise and Shine: The Jay Demerit Story,” and an interview with Dee Wreck of The Straight Red Card.
October 16th, 2011: Phila. Union talk leads the show after a playoff clinching draw against Toronto FC, then we interviewed Ravi from Forza Futbol, interviewed Charlie Cottone from the Philadelphia Union, followed by more Union talk, US Men’s National team discussion, and EPL talk. The show closed with an interview with Cesar Diaz.
October 2nd, 2011: Phila. Phillies talk leads the show, followed by a Union discussion after a big win, an interview with Charlie Flowe of The World Sports Show, English Premier League discussion, live calls from the Arsenal supporters during the Arsenal vs. Tottenham match, and an interview with Cesar Diaz.
September 25th, 2011: Phila. Union talk, EPL discussion, Phillies analysis, Penn State football talk, and an interview with Dan Gore on Liverpool and other EPL topics.
